Tina and Amanda

Tina Louise is a popular American writer, singer and actress who is well-known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television show Gilligan's Island. Bettle's Two's Company musical was the first production she acted in when she made her stage debut. Then, she appeared on Broadway in various performances until 1957 when Li'l Abner made it huge at the National Theater. In the same calendar year she debuted her debut musical album, The album is Tina Time. Louise's first foray into Hollywood was in the role of Griselda in God's Little Acre which was a 1958 film. The film received widespread praise. Louise won the Golden Globe Award in the New Star of the year category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's student. Her most memorable performance came with the year 1964, when she was signed by CBS to portray Ginger Grant in 1964. Louise worked successfully in both Hollywood and Broadway, playing somber characters that reflected her reputation as a glamorous doll. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series also featured her as Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although in the last few years she has also made an impact as a director who has been successful in various well-known television shows like Supernatural as well as The 100. Born in Essex on the 28th of August in 1965. Her family then relocated to Toronto for her childhood. Following her selection for the role of Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997, and has lived there since.
