Coleman was born in Lancashire, and born in Blackpool. She attended Arnold School in Blackpool. She was a headgirl and earned straight A grades for her A Levels. In discussing her Emmerdale character Coleman expressed regret over not attending a university. Coleman was in high school, was a member of a theatrical company called In Yer Space. They staged the play Crystal Clear for the Edinburgh Festival. Along with receiving a prize for her acting, the play she performed was well received. Coleman was chosen for the Emmerdale character Jasmine Thomas after auditioning with the drama school. Coleman was nominated for awards in 2007 and won two awards. In 2007, Coleman was nominated for two awards, The British Soap Awards as the most promising newcomer and the National Television Awards as the most Popular. In 2009, the British Soap Awards 2009 nominated her in both category of Best Actress - Sexiest Feminine and the category for Best Dramatic Performance. Coleman was also nominated as Best Actress at the TV Choice Awards. On the 21st March, 2012 Doctor Who producer Steven Moffat announced at a press event that Coleman would be the companion of the Doctor alongside Matt Smith after Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill have left the show. Moffat has decided to cast her in the role because she has the most chemistry Smith. She also spoke faster than Smith. Eva Larue..............................Eva LaRue is an American actor and model. Her involvement in the world of film since 1987. She was more popular on the television. Eva has played a variety of characters on TV, however two stand out in particular: The role of Dr. Maria Santos' role in All My Children as well as the character of Detective Natalia Boavistas which was in CSI Miami. Eva was nominated for 2 "Daytime Emmys" in the role she played as well as having the an opportunity to explore her artistic talents. Eva isn't just an actress, she is an entrepreneur and philanthropist. Three times married, she has one daughter along with her husband.
