Katherine Jean Bolduan, also popularly known as Kate Bolduan, is an American journalist from the United States. Bolduan is most famously known as the anchor of the CNN morning show At This Hour. She also co-anchored the CNN weekday morning program New Day and The Situation Room. Bolduan has been a part of CNN's award-winning coverage for the presidential elections in 2012 and 2016. She also spent time as a reporter in Washington DC as a correspondent for the US House, and US Senate. Bolduan was an active Capitol Hill Unit member when she covered the congressional cycle which included events like discussions to raise the limit of federal credit or deliberations by the super committee. As an assignment reporter for general assignments she covered news such as those of Christmas Day bombing in 2009 and also the Supreme Court ruling on Obamacare. She was appointed a CNN Newsource national correspondent in 2007. As the CNN Newsource National Correspondent, she reported breaking news to more than 800 CNN Newsource partners and provided feature reports. In the past, she has been employed at NBC News MSNBC as well as WTVD-TV. She currently reside in New York City with her husband and two children.
